Epic Shift Audition

This Saturday, I am auditioning for the Epic Shift Youth Festival's show called "The Good Soul of Szechuan". I'm extremely nervous about this audition. They're doing it very professionally -you need a non-fancy headshot, resume of past plays you've done, and a one to two minute monologue which showcases your best acting abilities- which is kinda weird as I don't think they're going to get many applicants... but maybe they will. Who knows?
The monologue I've chosen is one I performed last year at YoCo, and it's from a play called "Sixty Years to Life". It was really well received and everyone seemed to think I did an amazing job with it, so doing it again will help with the nerves and self-confidence me thinks.
I really hope I get a good part because I'm not in the Sears play this year, so I'll have extra memory space for lines and stuff. I hope it doesn't get too hectic tho, what with Stage-managering one of the Sears plays, one rehearsal a week (for now), two rehearsals a week for the epic shift thing, and studying for exams. Fun times. At least I'll have a life for a little while, right? This is what you would consider a "life" right? i wouldn't know, lol.

That's it for now.
p.s. sorry I haven't been posting a lot recently, I just haven't gotten any inspiration for blog posts.
